Wish You Were Floyd is a Pink Floyd tribute band from Wisconsin that
started playing out in early 2024. With a line-up loaded with seasoned
award-winning professionals, they immediately established themselves
as a critically-acclaimed powerhouse with their powerful performances.
Audiences have been responding with spectacular enthusiasm.
When it comes to recreating the sound, no one surpasses Wish You Were
Floyd's nuance and attention to detail. This 8-piece band does it all live without
backing tracks. They utilize a rich mix of male and female voices, a wide
variety of electric and acoustic guitars, and they deliver on other vital
details such as fretless bass, saxophone and sound effects.
One thing that separates Wish You Were Floyd from others is frontman
AJ Kartz. He masterfully recreates both the guitar playing and lead
vocals of Pink Floyd's David Gilmour giving the band an extra layer of
authenticity that is very difficult to achieve.
Of course, no Pink Floyd tribute is complete without spectacular visuals.
